FAQ
The submission guidelines are here. Please read the guidelines fully before you submit.
If you are not cis, and you are a person of color, you can submit. That means if you don’t identify as the gender assigned to you at birth, and you’re also a POC. White and/or cis people are welcome to follow.
Check the tags of content and selfies to see if that particular post can be reblogged by white/cis people- some submitters may specify that white/cis people don’t interact.
Again: If you see yourself as a person of color, and you are trans, you can submit. Yes, you count, yes, you’re valid! We mostly post selfies, but we also love other submissions too! We’ll post your art, poetry, photography, reviews of trans-related gear (like packers or binders or gaffs or breast forms), or anything else you want to share with the community!
You can see the commonly used acronyms here, if you’re unfamiliar with a term we often use. If you still don’t know what something means, send an ask!
I’m looking to have AMAB/transmisogyny affected/transfeminine people be equally represented with AFAB people! There tends to be a ton of AFAB content and selfies, and not as many AMAB ones, and I can’t balance it out without you! If you’re AMAB, we would love you to submit content and selfies! This should be a safe and inclusive space for all transgender people, not just AFAB ones.
- Questioning folks are also welcome to submit. Trans-masculine, trans-feminine, non-binary, or not-sure, you’re welcome.
- Anyone can follow the blog, including cisgender people and white people.
- Chasers and anyone objectifying trans people in comments or reblogs of posts from this blog will be blocked. Anybody being rude in the comments of someone’s selfies will be blocked. (followers, please send an ask if you notice anything since there are too many posts for the mod to watch!)
- There’s no age restrictions, you can be young and old, all ages are welcome.
- White-passing POC are welcome to submit content and selfies too, all trans POC are welcome to submit content and selfies, no matter their shade of brown.
- This isn’t the blog for discourse. Let’s keep this a safe space for trans people of color to create community, not a place of anger.
- Non-passing trans people are encouraged to submit content and sefies too!
Racism and colorism are real, and it’s important to be aware of any internalized racism/colorism you’ve absorbed from society. Light-skinned people of color are still people of color, but face less discrimination than darker skinned people of color.
This is not an advice blog, questions should be sent @transgenderteensurvivalguide, one of the blogs listed here, or a different blog that’s suitable. This blog is not affiliated with the Transgender Teen Survival Guide blog, but the admin of this blog (Lee) is a mod at TTSG, so there’s sometimes some overlap in policies/language.
Non-passing trans people are encouraged to submit content and selfies too! It can be nice to see that you’re not alone. Passing trans people often submit more photos so you see them more often, and it’s important to remember that a lot of us don’t pass yet, or can’t pass, for various reasons. I encourage you to submit content and selfies because I’ve found that it can be confidence-building, but it’s okay if you don’t want to right now.
Yes, you can submit if you’re…

- Latina, Latino, Latinx, or Latin@
- Hispanic (if you identify as a POC)
- Middle Eastern (if you identify as a POC)

- White-passing but not white
- I am not the judge and arbiter of your racial identity. White people aren’t allowed to submit (although they can follow the blog and interact in other ways) but if you aren’t white and you consider yourself a POC, you can submit!
If you have a question that this page hasn’t answered, you can try looking through the replied questions here, or send an ask.
You can see the already submitted selfies and content here!
Send an ask if you need a trigger to be added to the optional tags list, or if you have a tags suggestion you’d like me to add. My thoughts on accessibility are here- please tell me if something isn’t accessible, and I’ll try to work with you to find a solution.
